Saving money is very important when taking on a home project - follow these steps to avoid throwing cash down the drain
Have a clear contract with your builder based on an agreed design and specification that fits your budget. Don’t change your mind or be tempted by extras during the course of your project. Proper preparation - many building projects go over budget due to not being planned adequately in the first place. If you’re not clear on how to go about this or don’t have the time to invest in detailed preparation, it’s worthwhile engaging an architect or other suitably qualified and experienced professional to do this for you. The money they save you in professional project management can be far more than their fees.
