Robert Timmons is one of a number of kitchen designers who regard Parapan® as their material of choice when specifying high gloss acrylic for kitchen doors and cupboards.

Says Timmons: “I prefer Parapan® because it is solid colour all the way through and doesn’t fade when it is exposed to sunlight. If, by any unlikely chance it chips, Parapan® can be rubbed down and polished out unlike lacquers. If at a later stage you want to change or extend your kitchen, the new doors will be exactly the same colour. I like its versatility too, especially the fact that you can thermoform it into curves and machine it like hardwood”
