Green Electricity

Green-Electricity

As fuel prices increase, switch to a greener source to help fund renewable sources

As a pointer, Good Energy gets top ratings from Ethical Consumer magazine, as it’s the only 100 per cent renewable electricity supplier

Electricity companies are now obliged to get at least some of their power from renewable sources. However, it’s a minefield understanding the range of tariffs on offer, so you can only do your best. Research thoroughly and check out a number of suppliers before making your final green choice.

PROS

In theory, you are encouraging investment into renewable energy by paying the ‘green tariff’.

CONS

Some suppliers go much further than others, providing greater percentages of their total power from renewables.
